The 1893 lamp is used in several classic cars and vintage autos such as the Mustang, C1 Corvette, Corvette, C2 Corvette, 1965 Impala, 1967 Fiat, 1966 Buick as a shifter bulb, in dash clusters and radio dials.

Also used in Dodge and Chevy/Chevrolet Instrument panels.

It also has marine applications and is known as a Camco 54835. Used for vintage audio equipment and in vintage automotive projects. LTE Mixer bulb.
