Messaging Terms

These terms describe JKL Components Corporation’s terms for text messaging (referred to variously as SMS, MMS, and RCS) for product inquiries and order progress updates. 

Program description

If you opt in, JKL Components may send text messages to answer your product inquiries and to update you on the progress of your orders. You opt in to product inquiry messaging by directly sending a product-related inquiry via text message to (818) 896-0019. You opt in to order progress updates by selecting “Text me updates about this order” during checkout.

JKL does not send advertising or promotional text messages.

Staffing

JKL does not use agentic AI to hold conversations with you. All conversations you have over SMS/MMS/RCS with our staff have a helpful human behind the keyboard. We do send automated order updates, but questions you have about those updates are handled by a real person.

Consent and eligibility

You must be the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide and must be authorized to consent to messages at that number. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Keep your number current in your account profile.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies according to your product inquiry frequency and order activity. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan.

Opting out

You can text STOP to opt out of all text messages directly on your device. You may also change your order update preference in the My Account section of our website or by contacting JKL Components. If you want to opt back in to text messaging, text START from your device. Per wireless carrier rules, you cannot opt back in to text messaging on our website.

You can text HELP from your device for details about our texting service. If you experience any difficulties with the service, you can call us at (818) 896-0019 or complete our contact form to resolve your issue.

Delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to wireless network availability and is not guaranteed. JKL Components may suspend or end this program where operational, legal, or carrier requirements make that necessary.

Privacy

Our handling of information used for this program is described in the Privacy Policy section of this website. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date when we do.
